This is a recognised certificated course which ensures that all food handlers meet statutory training requirements, enabling them to work safely and effectively in the food environment. Training for food handlers is a legal requirement in both paid and unpaid (voluntary) settings where food is available for public consumption. This includes clubs, associations, schools, nurseries and hospitals, in addition to restaurants, food stall holders, the WI, takeaways, cafes and shops.
