Coriander Food Training & Consultancy specialises in training - principally Food Hygiene and Nutrition. We also take on specialist food projects. This may take the form of preparation for Industry Standards, ingredient reviews or specialised policy development for schools and hospitals. We are based in Hampshire and although much of our food safety and nutrition training takes place in the south, Hampshire, Sussex and Oxfordshire, we will travel to the venue of your choice wherever you are in the UK.

Training


Coriander Food Training & Consultancy provides food safety and nutrition training services to food handlers and management in catering, food retail, manufacturing companies, schools and other organisations. Coriander also trains others who may be in a position to offer advice on nutrition such as health workers in the NHS and other health related industries such as personal trainers.

Menu planning and courses related to food in residential care is an area of expertise at Coriander Food Training where restricted budgets may make food choices and menu planning challenging. Residential care is an environment where good nutrition and food hygiene really is key to well being.

Coriander Food Training & Consultancy is an accredited training centre for the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and delivers certificated food safety and nutrition courses and tailor made courses for specific circumstances.

Consultancy

Our team of food specialists can tackle most food oriented projects. Past projects have included preparation for BRC standards, removal of artificial ingredients, sourcing of ingredient supplies, working with local food groups to identify routes to market and product development. This is a recognised certificated course which ensures that all food handlers meet statutory training requirements, enabling them to work safely and effectively in the food environment. Training for food handlers is a legal requirement in both paid and unpaid (voluntary) settings where food is available for public consumption. This includes clubs, associations, schools, nurseries and hospitals, in addition to restaurants, food stall holders, the WI, takeaways, cafes and shops.

  • Also useful for those looking to work in the food industry.

    Course books provided, also pass certificate for successful candidates. Coffee, tea provided.
